Letter: Re-Elect Lee Arthurs for Westport RTM District 8

We are fortunate to have Lee Arthurs serve as a District 8 representative on Westport’s RTM. Lee’s great compassion and drive to understand people and issues make him an insightful representative. His 25 years of finance experience and business problem solving enable him to translate those insights into meaningful results for our town. In addition to serving on the RTM Finance Committee and the RTM Ordinance Committee, Lee attends and actively participates in many other RTM Committee meetings, especially on issues important to the town. He works collaboratively with other RTM members, town boards and fellow Westporters to seek and attain the best results for all of Westport.

I met Lee and his wife Judy when we moved to Westport 21 years ago. I have always found Lee to be both intelligent and concerned about the needs of others. While Lee has been on the RTM, I have conversed with him on many town issues. Sometimes I bring them up with him, and other times he initiates the discussions, looking for our feedback. In these conversations, Lee has always had a keen understanding of the issues at hand and has also been receptive of our thoughts and concerns.
