The Westport Republican Town Committee (RTC) is inviting Westporters to attend a free family BBQ on Sunday, August 25 at Compo Beach from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. near the cannons. Complimentary food and beverages will be served. The event is an opportunity for Westport voters to meet the Republican candidates for election this November, including First Selectman candidate Jim Marpe, among others.
“We are looking forward to a fun family event and the chance for Westport voters to meet candidates for local election and discuss the issues that matter most to them,” noted Desiree Soli, Chairwoman of the Westport Republican Town Committee. “We encourage Westporters to stop by, join the fun, and learn more about this group of experienced, dedicated candidates who wish to serve our town and lead Westport toward a bright future.”
