Crisis Center 'Spring Luncheon' Honors Dowd

The Domestic Violence Crisis Center will hold its eighth annual "Voices of Courage Spring Luncheon" 11am-1:30pm Wednesday, May 12, at the Stamford Marriott Hotel.

Michael G. Dowd, founding director of the Women's Justice Center and a long-time advocate for legal justice for victims of domestic violence, will be the honoree and key speaker at the event.

The luncheon includes a raffle of 17 items generously donated by local merchants, including a Tiffany Quatrefoil key and gold chain, a season subscription to the Westport County Playhouse, and a tour of the Philip Johnson House in New Canaan. Raffle tickets will be sold at locations throughout the area over two weekends prior to the event, as well as at the luncheon.
