Westport Family Y CEO at Sunrise Rotary

Rob Reeves, CEO of the Westport Weston Family Y, will speak on “Building What Matters” at Westport Sunrise Rotary’s weekly meeting on Friday, March 11th.   The meeting starts at 7:30 a.m. and is held at Bobby Q’s Restaurant, 42 Main Street, Westport.  The public is welcomed as guests with a $12 fee per person which includes a breakfast buffet.

After 10 plus years of site selection and permitting, the Westport Weston Family Y has recently been given the ‘green light’ to proceed with the construction of a new Family Y at its Camp Mahackeno location.

Reeves will explain how and why the new physical facility will benefit the Westport/Weston and surrounding community in ways not possible in its current location in downtown Westport.  He will share an overview of the growth of the Westport Weston Family Y’s throughout its 87 year history and the benefits provided to the greater community over this time.
