Blotter: Domestic Dispute, Alleged Threats

Police reports from Feb. 5-6.

The following arrest information was provided by the Westport Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Marcia Hayes, 52, of Myrtle Avenue, was arrested on Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct. According to the report, Hayes was involved in an “extremely loud argument” at her home. She was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Feb. 16.

Preston Murphy, 32, of Fairfield, was arrested on Feb. 6 at 3:51 p.m. on a charge of breach of peace. According to the report, Murphy was involved in an argument with the manager of Walgreens at 1870 Post Road E. because his prescription was unable to be processed on his credit card. Murphy allegedly made threats to the manager. Murphy was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Feb. 16.
