An arrest synopsis from the Westport Police Department:
- Joseph Piskura of Bridgeport, 50, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of hunting in town, which is prohibited. According to a police report, Piskura was seen on Wendy Lane wearing camouflage and walking through someone's yard. Piskura was tracking a wounded deer he had shot with a bow and arrow, according to the report. He was later located by officers on Coleytown Road. Although he had a valid hunting license and permission to hunt on private property, police said he was in violation of a local ordinance prohibiting hunting in town.
