Myrtle Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic at the entrance to Westport Town Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 p.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. due to the annual tree lighting ceremony.
Motorists should plan alternate routes and should also expect large numbers of pedestrian traffic in the area, according to the Westport Police.
People attending should plan on arriving early to ensure parking, or park elsewhere and walk to Town Hall, according to police.
