Jonathan Loeser, 20, of Westport, was charged with fifth-degree larceny on Dec. 6 at approximately 5 a.m.
According to police, Loeser was arrested on an active warrant stemming from a Dec. 4 incident in which he stole a wall safe and money from a relative. Loeser was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia for marijuana and a glass pipe he had in his possession at the time of his arrest, according to police.
Loeser was held on $35,000 court set bond and was scheduled to appear in court later that day.
