The Westport Police Department shut down Maple Avenue North and evacuated a nearby Dunkin Donuts.
As reported on WestportNow.com, police responded to a man threatening to commit suicide with a gun today on Maple Avenue North.
The Westport Police Department was able to take the man into custody without incident.
