U.S. Rep. Jim Himes (D-4) will host three town hall meetings in March to hear what's on the minds of his constituents.

Himes said that the forums "are topic-free. Every once in a while I'll have a topic, like Syria, but usually I like to be quiet and listen to what people have to say."

“As Congress deliberates how to get more Americans back to work, secure a sustainable energy future, and ensure Americans' privacy while protecting our national security, I want to hear your thoughts and ideas on these and the other important issues facing our nation,” said Himes, who lives in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich.

Here are the dates and locations of the meetings:

Wednesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. Shelton City Hall auditorium, 54 Hill St., Shelton.

Thursday, March 20 at 7 p.m. Norwalk Community College, the GenRe Forum on the East Campus, 188 Richards Ave., Norwalk.

Saturday, March 22 - 2 p.m., University of Connecticut, Stamford Campus GenRe Auditorium, 1 University Pl., Stamford.

This man is a major cheerleader (and Obama lapdog) for all the tremendously damaging (like O'care) congressional actions and WASTEFUL spending that is destroying our nation's Economy! Please go to one of these "town hall" meetings and stand up for your rights!
