RTM Member to Seek Candidacy as State Representative

Steve Rubin announced his intentions to establish an exploratory committee today.

Westport RTM member Steve Rubin announced today that he intends to establish an exploratory committee to be on the ballot as a candidate for the 136th Assembly District next November.

After serving Westport since 1993 on the RTM, Rubin said he would now like to represent Westport in Hartford.

"I just wish to continue to serve them now on a more broad basis which would be in the state from Hartford as opposed to doing it from town hall in Westport," he said in an interview Sunday afternoon.
