It is my pleasure to endorse Jonathan Steinberg in his re-election bid for State Representative.
I have known Jonathan for close to 10 years, well before his current posting at State Representative. His interest in our community existed well before his current role, most notably as a member of the Westport Representative Town Meeting (RTM).
As our representative in Hartford, Jonathan has consistently and actively been involved in local and state issues.
There are two issues on which Jonathan has provided his support that have intersected with my activities.
The first is helping us find space for our school buses to park, in an attempt to save the town upwards of $200,000 per year on an ongoing basis.
The second is his support for the activities generated as a result of this year's inaugural Westport Mini Maker Faire that dovetail beautifully with the state initiatives to support education and create jobs.
Having Jonathan continue to represent Westport in Hartford is an excellent decision both for Westport and Connecticut.
