The Westport Republican Town Committee is currently accepting applications for those interested in filling a vacancy on the Westport Board of Education.
The opening was created when board member Jennifer Tooker, was elected to Westport’s Board of Finance. The candidate selected and appointed by the Westport Board of Education will serve out Tooker’s term, ending in November 2015.
Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, Dec. 4, when the Westport RTC’s Board of Education Vacancy Committee will interview qualified candidates and make a recommendation to the Board of Education on a replacement.
