Come to this fun family day and walk for people of all physical abilities at beautiful oceanfront Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, CT. Includes choice of two walking paths (1k & 3k).
The event includes family-oriented entertainment, face painting, crafts, demonstrations from Norwalk Maritime Museum, Darien Nature Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Stamford, Sound Tigers and more. Includes lunch.
Cheer on individuals with developmental disabilities who make the walk (some using their walkers, wheelchairs or help from staff) together with family, friends & supporters! Or join us in walking to support programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a heartwarming and memorable event. A donation is suggested (walkers are encouraged to raise $100 or more) and all are welcome. Pets are not allowed in the park.
