Three members of Staples' field hockey team, which won the FCIAC title, were honored by the league.
Forward Misha Strage and defender Callie Hiner earned a spot on the all-FCIAC first team while Emily Ashken was named to the all-FCIAC West squad.

In the FCIAC semifinals, the Wreckers ended Darien's 93-game unbeaten streak, the third-longest in high school field hockey history, and 82-game winning streak. Then in the finals, Staples defeated eventual Class M state champion Wilton.
Staples finished the season at 12-4-3-1, falling to eventual state champion Cheshire in the second round of the Class L state tournament.

Staples' Joosje Grevers was named to the all-FCIAC girls volleyball first team while Anna Link and Dannielle Kosinski were picked for the second and third teams, respectively.
The Wreckers lost to Ridgefield in the semifinals of the FCIAC playoffs, then reached the quarterfinals of the Class LL state tournament. Staples finished the season with an 18-4 record.
