Christy Colasurdo
I live in Westport with husband, Doug, and two sons. I'm a business owner as well as a longtime magazine editor/writer with a passion for food, books, going out with friends and passing along my appreciation for nature to my kids.
In 2010, along with partners up in Vermont, I launched Graze, a farm-to-front-door delivery service to help busy parents source the best sustainably produced foods from small family farmers. My goal is to make it easier for people to eat wholesome foods from small farms and to take a stand against the massive industrial food supply, which is the root of so many problems in this country. One of the best parts about the new company is that it allows me to be a part of the farm-to-family movement and to meet some of the hardworking people--farmers, cheesemakers, restaurateurs, bloggers, moms--who are in the trenches and hustling at local farmers' markets, doing all they can to raise awareness about the value of real food.
