Westport Chicken Coop Tour Sat. May 25!

Join us on Saturday, May 25th for a lively tour of Westport homes whose owners keep backyard flocks of chickens! The morning begins with a special visit to Wakeman Town Farm by Lauren Scheuer, illustrator for American Girl and the author of her newly published novel, Once Upon a Flock. Lauren will treat us all to a free chicken keeping workshop and will be available to sign copies of her novel which will be for sale throughout the day. Then, grab a map, some refreshments, and be on your way for a self guided tour through Westport, to view some of our town's most charming coops and chicken keepers! Learn everything you've always wanted to learn about backyard chicken keeping and meet some real nice folks who are eager to show of their feathered menageries! Cost: $10 per map Refreshments are available for sale too, along with WTF Logowear!
