Gov. Malloy to Honor CT's 9-11 First Responders Today at Sherwood Island

The ceremony, which will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today, will also include remarks from Paul Aaronson of New Canaan's Emergency Medical Services Commission and various other public officials.

Govornor Malloy and other public officials will remember first responders and volunteers from our state at  at 

United States Attorney David Fein, Commissioner of Emergency Services & Public Protection Reuben F. Bradford, and Executive Director of Voices of September 11th Mary Fetchet invite you to attend a ceremony to honor those who responded to lower Manhattan and other locations after the World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001, and participated in the recovery and relief efforts in the days that followed.

The ceremony will include remarks from U.S. Attorney Fein, Commissioner Bradford, Bonnie McEneaney from Voices of September 11th, New York Police Department Deputy Inspector Andrew Savino, Paul Aaronson of New Canaan’s Emergency Medical Services Commission.
