A Westport resident and Norwalk High School chemistry teacher pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges in Norwalk Superior Court Wednesday, according to the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
Victor A. Corso, 67, of Westport, pleaded not guilty to risk of injury to a child and fourth-degree sexual assault.
The alleged incident occurred while Corso was babysitting a young child at his Hillandale residence in Westport, Captain Sam Arciola said.

The Detective Bureau, working jointly with Department of Children and Families (DCF), began an investigation in December after receiving a complaint regarding allegations of suspected child sexual abuse earlier in the month, Arciola said.
Corso, at liberty on a $25,000 bond, has his case continued until February 20.
Corso was an engineer for 20 years prior to teaching at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, according to the Norwalk Public School's website.
Corso is the second person with a relation to Westport to face sexual assault charges recently.
