Bully May Face Charges Following Assault at Norwalk School

A student at Roton Middle School intervened in an altercation between two individuals Monday after he saw one of his friends being picked on by another student, police said.

The student told the aggressor to stop what he was doing to his friend, but he ended up getting pushed by the aggressor, according to a police report.

After school, the student’s babysitter noticed he had a "busted lip" and she informed his mother, who called the school, police said.

Following an investigation, police learned that the aggressor also kicked the student who was defending his friend in the face, police said.

Police are following up on this matter. The alleged assailant will most likely get a summons to court for assault, according to Lt. Praveen John.
