Westport Man Accused of Four Local Burglaries

The man was held on high bond for court Feb. 24.

Jamal Washington, 25, of 42 Hiawatha Lane, Westport, was charged Feb. 24 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and two counts of second degree burglary.

Washington was served four arrest warrants while in custody at Norwalk Superior Court, according to a report from

The warrants were for several burglaries that police say Washington committed in December 2011 at the following locations: 4 Burritts Landing North, 9 Burritts Landing North, 17 Burritts Landing South, and 2 Judy Point  Lane. He was held on $102,500 bond.
