Westport Woman Arrested For DUI After Disabling Vehicle

A Westport woman was charged with DUI after  on its front right rim. Police learned she hit a curb, which caused the tire to shred off the wheel.

A father coming to his daughter's aid ended up with at a man who apparently knocked repeatedly on his daughter's door and then waited in his car in her driveway. While the two were arguing, there was some amount of arm waving, and allegedly the man cut his finger on the father's butcher knife.

Fairfield police started Christmas early when a , hitting medians and causing landscape damage, and ramming into a police car. To top it off, an officer heading in for backup hit another officer’s parked car as he raced to the scene.
