Just Show Up, ASPIRE Formula

What's the formula? Simple.

Someone in my GetFitLadies class was telling me about how much progress they’ve made (lost 20+ pounds, 2 inches on waist, clothes feel amazing, feeling great) and how they were amazed that they were only “working out” 3 hours a week.

That’s all it takes. Three hours per week.

That’s it. That formula is the key to getting everything you want out of your health and fitness program. Let’s dig a bit deeper.

Knowledge. This comes from your Coach, Trainer, etc. I have invested thousands and thousands in certifications, textbooks, programs, coaching courses, conference calls, mentorships, etc. You don’t have to worry about this stuff — but it is ESSENTIAL to your program. Many people fail in their pursuit of fitness because they are bombared with false information on a daily basis and can never truly get started.

Plan of Action. If you got someplace to go, you need a plan to get there. Our programming is class-based, unlike many facilities. We have realized, through experimentation, that a “one size fits all” approach DOES not exist. It may work for a while, but ultimately, results come in tidalwaves from more specific programming. Our private fitness coaching clients have realized this, and this is also why we limit our class size.

Support System. This one is all around us. It comes from the facility, online, spouse/family, work relationships, etc. Without a strong support system, many people fail or get lost on their journey. During my assessments, I always ask “Is your husband, wife or significant other on board?” If so, the success rate is almost 100%.

Most people in pursuit of health and fitness goals don’t have the knowledge (training, coaching, experience), plan of action (how to program and execute a plan for themselves, a small group, etc) or the support system. Then, 6 months later after vowing to make major changes they are in the same place as before..or worse.
